Development Support Policy

The South Division-Grandville CIA has a development support policy, which provides support for certain development projects that need significant public infrastructure investments and results in at least one of the following:

Retention of permanent jobs
Creation of permanent jobs
Addition of residential units
Creation of new greenspace available to the public

Sub-Committees

Design and Development Committee

This committee focuses on streetscape, public space design and improvements while supporting the development of new or existing businesses. This committee meets on the third Tuesday of the month.

Burton Heights Business Association Committee

This committee is tasked with creating and cultivating a business association on South Division. This committee meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month.

Southwest Business Association Committee

This committee is tasked with cultivating the existing business association on Grandville Avenue. This committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month.

Business Associations Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

The MOU executed with each of the South Division-Grandville CIA's two business associations allows the CIA to provide $12,000 in support to each association for the fiscal year 2025. Learn More
